Jordan’s architectural crushes

Homes That
Turn My Head.

Some homes just make you stop scrolling. The unexpected roofline. The perfectly preserved wood paneling. A kitchen with a little soul. This is my collection of architectural crushes, design details, and homes that deserve a second look.

Not necessarily my listings. Just homes I can’t stop thinking about.

Why this one turned my head

Brick, light,
and a little soul.

You had me at the double-sided brick fireplace. Add the tall ceilings, hardwood floors, and oversized windows, and this ranch has exactly the kind of character I love finding.

The granite walkway makes an entrance before you even reach the front door. Inside, that fireplace brings the living and dining spaces together while giving each room a personality of its own.

The kitchen and baths could use some updating. My favorite possibility here? A thoughtful refresh that keeps the home's mid-century spirit intact.

Why this one turned my head

Oh, the
possibilities.

This one has SO much potential. A California ranch tucked into the trees, with low rooflines and an entrance that makes me want to see what’s around the corner? I’m already imagining its next chapter.

I’d start outside: a thoughtful color palette, planting that gives the architecture room to breathe, and an entry that feels a little more welcoming. Sometimes a home just needs someone to see what’s already there.

The single-level layout, fireplace, and skylight give me plenty to work with in my imaginary design plan. The listing notes exterior updates are needed. I’d love to see a refresh that brings out the character of this 1974 home.

make it feel like home.

Living room at 7 Twin Street with a large brick fireplace, white seating, and broad windows

Windham, NH · One of my listings

A fireplace with presence.

That oversized brick fireplace is the first thing that catches my eye here. Add the big windows and a soft, simple palette, and the room feels ready for a quiet morning or a gathering that lasts a little longer.

I love a home with a focal point that already has personality. Sometimes the best design move is giving it room to shine.

Design worth noticing

It’s in
the details.

A material, a room, a clever use of space. Sometimes one detail is enough to make a home stay with you.
